I must say, it was nice to see perfectly exposed and footage that was in focus!
After many weather delays, the picture was shot on location by my Intro to Film Class this spring. The picture was shot in 16mm, and other than a few rolls of film and an hour of telecine, the picture is fully funded by the students and generous philanthropists. Another IndieGogo site is going to raise money for the visual effects and final color correction. Please help if you can.
Congratulations to all of my students for getting this one up and shot!
This should be a fun, and entertaining piece coming out this fall. If you can help in any way, please check their IndieGogo site for "The Garden"

No, film isn't dead, but, the digital revolution is certainly moving forward at rocket speed. Along with the busload of geeks needed, the workflow is changing more and more. Eventually, we see the digital worflow moving to the cloud. Right now, many a DIT enjoys those 2 a.m. coffees while waiting for the days work to get backed up, transcoded, transferred, yadda ya. I don't know about you, but many in the digital zone have nightmares that little bar that says "only 100 hours to go" We'll hopefully not for long.
We are working with partners to design support services for the movie set of the future. Imagine, dailies coming off set, going to a colorist, and editor off-set and then showing up on an Ipad tablet.
Check back soon for updates on this exciting venture! If you can provide services that could help facilitate this vision, we'd love to hear from you!
